Good Day,

Thank you very much for the inputs it is greatly appreciated.
I am wondering if you could help me my client did not do reconciliations for more than a year.
I realised that there are duplicate entries in gl which was created through SLA.
I then logged a call with Oracle and after 3 months the response was that they cannot help me with a script I have to manually reconcile all the transactions.
Programatically how would I be able to find these duplicate entries?

Regards and Thank You

Hi,

Thank you for sharing knowledge. Would like to know the purpose of these columns in XLA tables. (with reference to inventory,purchasing, AP/AR)

XLA_EVENTS --> EVENT_DATE & TRANSACTION_DATE
XLA_AE_HEADERS --> ACCOUNTING_dATE
XLA_AE_LINES --> ACCOUNTING_DATE

is the event_date is same accounting_Date for AP/INV transactions ?

Accounting_Date fields are there in xla_ae_headers & xla_ae_lines also,

which of them finally represents the accounting_Date & transaction when we link to base transaction.

Hi Anil,
I really appreciate the way in which you precisely described the flow from AR to GL.
Every body with the basic knowledge of the apps can understand the flow by using information provided in your blog.
